Marimba Festival

On Wednesday we went to Turanga and did a music festival with about 120 people performing we did it because mrs hall wanted us to have a cool experience and those who didn't want to go didn't have to, I learnt how to play the glock-n-spiel. we stayed at papamoa and there was a bouncy pillow and i landed my first ever front flip.

Whangara Farm Trip

on the 11th of june we went to the farm with andrew he is the tour guide there was also a lady who measured the growth rate of the grasses. we went there so we can get information for Seeds R Us and so we now what the professionals. we learnt how to measure the grass and lots more. I loved the fact that we got the privilege to go to whangara farm.

SEEDS R US animal health

on friday a veterinarian came to school and taught us about animals diseases, bacteria and what she does on a daily basis.

we did this so we could learn more about animals and how they get diseases.I was really surprised when I heard milk is about 4-5 days old before you buy it.

Black Gold On Waitangi Hill

Waitangi hill oil, On Waitangi hill they have an oil reserve and according to Maori Legends it could be Oioi the seals oil Oioi was Whirikokas pet and Whirikoka was very special because he could talk to all of the sea animals, but one day they took some sea animals with them to the enchanted forest but they had to get out before the sun had risen. Then they had a big party and they partied so hard they fell asleep and ended up sleeping in then they started to slowly die and all of the oil spreaded across Waitangi hill and whatatutu and that is said to be the place of oioi the seals oil and all of the other animals they took.
